Jam Twists

You just need 2 simple ingredients to make these fancy looking – and scrumptious – jammy lunchbox snacks.

Ingredients

  • Rhodes Quality Smooth Apricot Jam – or your child’s favourite Rhodes Quality jam flavour
  • 1 roll Today Puff Pastry, defrosted
  • 1 egg, whisked

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Unroll Today Puff Pastry and place lengthways on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread a generous amount of Rhodes Quality jam over one half of the pastry sheet.
  3. Fold the pastry sheet in half. Cut into 2cm wide strips then twist and brush lightly with egg wash.
  4. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until golden.

     

  5. Leave to cool before popping in your child’s lunchbox – and don’t forget to add a box of Rhodes Quality 100% Fruit Juice!
