French Toast Fingers

These eggy toast fingers are a real treat with a sweet jam centre. They’re so easy to make – fry them up quickly in a pan or pop them in your air fryer.

Ingredients

  • Rhodes Quality Smooth Apricot Jam – or your child’s favourite Rhodes Quality jam flavour
  • brown bread, sliced
  • 1 egg, whisked with a dash of milk and a splash of Rhodes Quality 100% Orange Juice
  • butter or margarine for frying

Method

  1. Remove crusts from bread.
  2. Make a sandwich using Rhodes Quality jam and cut into fingers.
  3. Dip fingers into egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides.
  4. Cook in a frying pan over medium heat with a little butter or marg until golden brown – or pop in the air fryer.

     

  5. Allow to cool before placing in lunchbox – and don’t forget to add a box of Rhodes Quality 100% Fruit Juice!
