Rhodes Quality Gordon Road SuperSpar Promotional Competition T&Cs

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter
   1.1 The promoter of this competition is RFG Foods (Pty) Ltd. (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
   2.1 The promotional competition is open to all South African residents who are 18 (Eighteen) years or older and in possession of a valid South African identity document, passport, or proof of South African residency.

 2.2 Employees, directors, agents, consultants, or any person directly or indirectly affiliated with the Promoter, including their spouses, life partners, or immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

3. Competition Period
   3.1 The competition runs from 17 February 2025 to 31 March 2025, closing at 11:59 PM on 31 March 2025. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
   4.1 To enter, participants must:

• Purchase two (2) 1-litre Rhodes Quality 100% Fruit Juices during the competition period from Gordon Road SuperSpar.
• Write their contact details clearly on the till slip and place the till slip into the entry box provided in-store.
• Each valid purchase qualifies for one entry into the competition.

5. Prize Details
   5.1 Participants stand a chance to win a Rhodes Quality Hamper, which includes:

• A branded 100% juice cool box
• A selection of 1L Rhodes Quality juices
• A branded towel

 5.2 One (1) prize will be awarded per week in-store during the competition period.

 5.3 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

6. Winner Selection & Notification
   6.1 Winners will be selected via a random draw, conducted weekly throughout the competition period.

 6.2 The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavor to contact the prize winner once every day for five (5) consecutive working days after their name is drawn. If a prize winner cannot be contacted within this period, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules. If the replacement winner cannot be contacted within the same time constraints, the prize will be forfeited back to the Promoter, and no further winners shall be selected.

7. General Terms
   7.1 By entering, participants consent to the Promoter using their name and image for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

 7.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify participants suspected of fraudulent activity, including but not limited to tampering, manipulation, automated entries, or providing false information.

 7.3 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect, or incomplete entries, including those affected by technical failures.

 7.4 The Promoter shall not be responsible for network, computer, or cell phone hardware/software failures that prevent successful entry submission.

7.5 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate, or extend the competition at its discretion without prior notice, especially in unforeseen circumstances.

 7.6 All decisions by the Promoter regarding this competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Data Protection
   8.1 By entering the Competition, participants authorize the Promoter to collect, store, and use their personal information for marketing, communication, or statistical purposes. Participants may opt out of marketing communication by emailing customercare@rfg.com. Any personal data submitted will be handled in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s privacy policy.

 8.2 The Promoter reserves the right to name and publish images of winners in any media it deems appropriate. Winners may decline participation in publicity by sending a written request to the Promoter at 1 Pniel Road, Groot Drakenstein, Cape Town, Att: Legal Department.

9. Legal & Liability

9.1 The Competition shall comply with, and will be subject to, the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and its regulations. In the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the CPA, the latter shall prevail. The CPA and its regulations are available on the Department of Trade and Industry’s website: www.dti.gov.za.

9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend, or extend the competition if circumstances beyond its control make such action necessary. In such an event, all participants agree to waive any rights they may have in respect of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.

9.3 The Promoter, its affiliates, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages or losses arising from participation in this competition or acceptance of any prize.

9.4 The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition.
