A delicious spicy fruit dessert sauce that can be used as a topping for ice cream, scones, toast and muffins.
Ingredients
- 1 x 825 g can Rhodes Quality Peach Halves in Syrup, drained and chopped
- 375 ml sugar
- 15 ml (1 T) ground cinnamon
- 2.5 ml ground allspice
- 2.5 ml ground nutmeg
Method
- Place the chopped Rhodes Quality Peach Halves, sugar and spices in a slow cooker and cook on a low setting for about 6 hours.
- Allow to cool and thicken and spoon into jars and seal.
