These tasty energy bites are crammed with wholesome ingredients like oats, honey, coconut and peanut butter, and have a yummy jam centre.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Rhodes Quality Mixed Fruit Jam – or your child’s favourite Rhodes Quality jam flavour
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup oats
- ½ cup coconut
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/3 to ½ cup water
Method
- Spoon ¼ tsp size dollops of Rhodes Quality jam onto a baking sheet and freeze for one hour.
- In a bowl, combine peanut butter, honey, oats, coconut, vanilla essence and cinnamon then mix well.
- Gradually add water until you get a soft, malleable mixture.
- Flatten a spoonful of the mixture in the palm of hand.
- Place a frozen Rhodes Quality jam dollop in the middle then pinch mixture together and roll into a ball.
- Store in a sealed container in the fridge.
