Cheesy boerewors braai broodjies with delicious new Rhodes Quality Boerewors Relish.
Ingredients
- 12 slices white farm-style bread
 - butter for spreading
 - 125 g (1 cup) grated cheddar cheese
 - 125 g (1 cup) grated mozzarella cheese
 - 600 g cooked boerewors, cooled
 - 1 x 400 g can Rhodes Quality Boerewors Relish
 - Salt and black pepper
 
Method
- Butter 6 slices of bread on 1 side and place buttered side down on a board.
 - Mix together the cheeses and place half of the cheese in a layer on each slice.
 - Cut the boerewors into even slices and divide between the sandwiches.
 - Spread a generous layer of the Rhodes Quality Boerewors Relish on top of the boerewors.
 - Finish with a final layer of cheese.
 - Close the sandwiches with the remaining 6 slices of bread and butter the tops.
 - Place the sandwiches inside a braai grid and slowly toast them over warm coals until golden brown.
 - Serve hot off the fire.
