Corn Pop Kebabs

These Corn Pop Kebabs are so satisfying and filling – they’re guaranteed to become a new lunchbox favourite!

Ingredients

  • 1 x 410g can Rhodes Quality Whole Kernel Corn, drained
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter, melted
  • ½ cup self-raising flour
  • pinch salt
  • herbs for seasoning
  • vegetable oil for frying

Method

  1. Whisk egg then add melted butter or oil and milk.
  2. Add flour and mix well.
  3. Add Rhodes Quality Whole Kernel Corn, salt and herbs and combine well.
  4. Heat oil in a saucepan then add small spoonfuls of mixture.
  5. Fry over medium heat until golden brown then drain on paper towel.

     

  6. Leave to cool before threading onto a mini skewer or toothpick.
  7. Place in lunchbox and add your child’s favourite dipping sauce.
  8. And remember to pack a box of Rhodes Quality 100% Fruit Juice too!
